What makes Stem Organics Unique?

We believe everything that you touch, or that touches you, matters. It's not about what ingredient is most in fashion today. We start our formulation in 2007 before organic was the industry it is today and all of our formulations were based on ingredients that work. When it comes to skin health, we use natural and organic ingredients, leaving out nasty additives such as sulphates & parabens. The effectiveness of the Stem Organics range is testament to our unique signature blend. Signature ingredients include: Organic Aloe (instead of water as our main ingredient unlike most skincare brands), known for its healing & soothing abilities. Australian Kakadu Plum, one of the highest plant sources of age fighting Vitamin C in the world. Pomegranate, rich with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant-rich polyphenols. Additionally, we include other organic & natural skin super nutrients, vitamins, minerals & extracts for their anti-ageing properties.

As we clearly identify the overall percentage of certified organic content in each product, you can be sure we take skin health seriously.


Product Questions

Are your products certified organic?

Stem Organics products contain up to 94% certified organic ingredients. Each ingredient that is certified organic is listed as so on the product labels and the website.

How soon should I use the product after opening?

All products have a 2 year shelf life before opening with the exceptions of the Refining Massage Oil, Rejuvenating Face Oil and Perfect Complexion Masque which all have a 3 year shelf life. The Period After Opening PAO (or PAO) recommendation is 6 months.

Do I need to keep Stem Organics products in the fridge?

There is no need to keep the products in the refrigerator, but we highly recommend that they be stored out of direct sunshine, for example a bathroom cupboard where ideally this would be below 25C/77F. It is important to protect precious ingredients from light deterioration, whilst maximising product effectiveness and shelf life.   The packaging also helps protect the products, with the dark brown glass helping to protect from the light while the pump heads protect from finger contamination and oxidisation.

I sometimes have an allergic reaction (usually unexpected) to certain products, do you think there might be anything in Stem Organics I could be allergic to?

Given we use natural ingredients the likelihood for reactions is considerably less. That said, always check the product ingredient list prior to purchasing to see if it contains an ingredient you will react to. The intensity of irritation and allergic reactions varies from person to person; therefore, we recommend a spot test prior to full application. Should a reaction occur, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice.

Can I use all the Stem Organics products at the same time?

All our products are designed to create a holistic skincare routine and dovetail together. Please read the label to ensure you’re using the best combination of products possible. Frequency is also important, your Stem Organics product will outline how often you should use it get the optimal affect. Need help? Reach out, we’d love to hear from you.

Can I use the Refining Body Scrub on my face?

We highly recommend you do not use the Refining Body Scrub on the face as the larger Natural Cellulose Beads would be too coarse, hence the Smooth Skin Exfoliant, with smaller Natural Cellulose Beads is such a gentle facial scrub, and remains the desired choice for the face.

I have just received my product and I noticed that the colour is different to my last bottle. The last one was lighter in colour?

The colour of some products are likely to change from time to time due to the natural ingredients. For example, tangerine essential oils in Gentle Cleansing Milk have varying colour intensity depending on when they are harvested and certain weather conditions. However, the colour makes absolutely no difference to the effectiveness of the formula.

I have rosacea, can I use your products?

Yes our products are suitable for rosacea prone skin.

I have eczema, can I use your products?

Yes our product are suitable for eczema prone skin.

Are your products gluten free?

Yes our products are gluten free, however we cannot guarantee that the laboratory used for mixing formulas is 100% gluten free. We recommend not ingesting the product.

Can I recycle the bottle once I’m finished with it?

Yes. Both the bottle and cap can be recycled through curb side domestic recycling services.  

Do you use microbeads in your products?

No. We never use microbeads. We use willow bark as a natural exfoliant which is fully biodegradable.

Do you use Parabens or Sulphates?

No. Our products are chemical free!

Are your products cruelty free and vegan friendly?

Yes, all our products are cruelty free and vegan friendly.

Do I have to be home to collect my parcel?

You can request your products be left by Australia Post, however in the event you will not be home, please ensure that they will not be left for any length of time in an area too hot or cold as this could affect their efficacy.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

Yes we deliver to PO Boxes.

Will I be subject to taxes and/or import charges?

This will depend on the policies imposed by the government in your country.
